Three Friends on a Mission to Disrupt the Bedding Industry

OUR STORY
After a number of years in the bedding industry, we became increasingly concerned about the negative impact these products were having on the environment. We researched ways to recycle comforters and pillows but realized that transportation pollution and refinement processes would create even more strain on the planet.
Then an idea came to us: What if we could create bedding products that didn't have to be recycled at all? What if we could create plant-based products that were just as luxurious and affordable as anything else on the market, but that weren't made of plastic?
In this quest, we stumbled upon a strain of bamboo called Moso and learned Moso's unique fibers could be converted into bedding. After some refinement and testing, we created a proprietary fill spun from viscose made from bamboo that performed just as good, if not better than traditional feather and polyester, but without the petroleum or the permanence. Then we learned that growing Moso pulled 5-15 times more carbon from the air than traditional reforestation projects, meaning that the more demand we created for MOSO products, the more Moso bamboo gets grown.
With our plant-based fiber and our mission to take petroleum out of the bedding industry, MOSO Pillow was born.
So, thank you. When you buy MOSO products, you make a real difference. You keep plastic out of your own bed, and you take a little demand out of the petroleum bedding supply chain. And that's how you save a planet.
Yours in gratitude,
Travis, Leon, and Jameer
