MoVis RecoveryFill is viscose made from bamboo, carbonized and blended with bamboo charcoal and tourmaline. It is breathable and moisture-wicking, and unlike memory foam or polyester it is a plant-based cellulosic fiber rather than a plastic one.

By replacing polyester. Most bedding is filled with petroleum-based polyester, which sheds microplastics. MOSO uses viscose made from bamboo instead, a plant-based cellulosic fiber from a crop that regrows from its own root system without replanting or pesticides. Converting bamboo into viscose is itself a chemical process, so we do not call the pillow chemical-free.

Yes. Viscose is a moisture-wicking fiber, and the gusseted construction lets air move through the pillow. Together they help regulate temperature and keep you drier through the night.

No, there is no polyester in a MOSO pillow. The fill is 100% viscose made from bamboo, and the ticking is a 300 thread count sateen of the same fiber. Viscose is a plant-based cellulosic fiber, so it is not a source of the microplastic shedding polyester is known for.
